I don’t really consider myself a blogger, per se. Just a girl who loves to cook and wanted a way to share those means with her loved ones both near and far. As for my cooking, I have no professional training, but I do love, creating and watching ingredients turn into delicious meals. This blog is actually the result of a childhood dream, on in which I fantasized about owning my own restaurant. Then, one day not too long ago, my husband said that he would like to someday have a sandwich shop and call it meat and cheese. I responded that i would then have a bakery next door named and bread. So here it is. and bread. Although it is not a restaurant, it is the roots of my dream. Here you will find recipes to the meals i have been making and a few stories about my most favorite people to go along.
For those of you who want to know a little bit more about me, I am in my mid-twenties and lucky enough to be married to the love of my life. Just recently, my husband and I welcomed the most beautiful baby girl into the world and she brings joy and purpose to my life each and every day. In addition to cooking and baking, I love running and Pilates, drinking fine wine, curling up with a good book, all things Notre Dame, and weekends at the lake. But most of all, I love my family and friends. And I hope you come to love and bread.
and bread is dedicated to my two most favorite people. It is these two that have to enjoy and/or suffer through all of my cooking!
